Reports from Strategic Consultation Workshops
6G-IA regularly organises strategic consultation workshops with key stakeholders around Europe (and beyond). The purpose of these workshops are to identify possible future strategic directions for the SNS JU for the next few years, as well as to update the 6G-IA vision and strategy.
The reports from these workshops are shared here and they are designed to trigger further discussions with the 6G-IA members (through the 6G-IA consultations), the EC, and to help develop positions to be shared with related Horizon Europe JUs and PPPs, and the SRG.
2026
Several strategic WS were also organized in 2026. The reports of these WS are provided here summarizing the main discussions, key findings and agreed way forward.
2025
These reports highlight the research and innovation (R&I) priorities needed at the European level for 6G connectivity in their specific fields of expertise. They provide recommendations for orientations for their topics that can be considered under the Smart Networks and Services (SNS JU). The addressed topics stem from a face-to-face workshops, organised by 6G-IA and held in spring 2025, to bring together experts from industry, research centers, and academia across the telecom domain. The reports are the 6G-IA position papers and they build on the previous 2024 6G-IA position papers. Their aim is to stimulate the discussion on further support for related topics.
