6G Forum

The 6G Forum will take place as a free virtual event on 6th October 2026. The Forum will explore differing views on what 6G should be and the implications for networks, services and the broader ecosystem, attempting to answer questions such as:
- Will network architectures need a fundamental overhaul to be truly AI-native?
- Which network design and use case priorities are shaping 6G?
- Will spectrum refarming be necessary to deliver 6G services?
- How will operators generate new revenue streams in the 6G era?
- What should we expect from Release 21 and Release 22?
- Are we on track for commercial deployments by 2030?
The 6G-IA and SNS JU will have a strong presence at the event as Dr. Ömer Bulakci, Chairman of the SNS JU 6G Architecture Working Group, will participate in the Panel “Network architecture for 6G: evolution or revolution?”
