SUMMARY:Presentation of 6G IA Position Paper
DESCRIPTION:Introduction: Position Paper on Key strategies for 6G SMART NETWORKS and SERVICES\n\nThe purpose of Position Paper is to provide a first comprehensive set of key strategic reflections and recommendations for 6G smart networks and services\, capturing the views and priorities from the members of the 6G-IA. The goal is that this document will be used to further elaborate future versions of the SNS JU Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) as well as the R&I Work Programmes. It also aims to offer directions for collaboration opportunities for European Stakeholders that will go beyond the scope of the SNS JU. It is the plan of 6G-IA to use this as a “living document” where topics will be updated or highlighted (by producing specific strategic documents) in the coming years\, following the technological advances\, market uptake and ecosystem evolution. \nIn this document the following areas are considered and analysed. \n\n6G Technological Sovereignty which includes a) components and microelectronics\, b) open SNS solutions\, c) cloudification and distributed computing\, d) network intelligence\, e) security and privacy and f) knowledge base\nSustainability which captures all aspects of environmental\, societal and economic sustainability\n\nThis presentation provides a brief analysis of each area and the recommendations. \n Agenda:   \nDownloads:        6G IA Position Paper 2023             Event Presentation Slides       Video of Event\n\n\n\n\n00-10:10\nWelcome – Opening\nScope of the Position paper\nWhat is Technological Sovereignty?\nColin Willcock\n\n\n10:10-10:20\nMicro-electronics\nWerner Mohr\n\n\n10:20:10:30\nOpen SNS solutions\nAitor Garcia\n\n\n10:30-10:40\nCloudification and distributed computing\nToon Norp\n\n\n10:40-10:50\nNetwork Intelligence\nChristine Leurquin\n\n\n10:50-11:00\nSecurity and privacy\nEmmanuel Dotaro\n\n\n11:00-11:05\nSNS Knowledge base skill\nCarles Anton\n\n\n11:05-11:15\nSustainability\nRaffaele De Peppe\n\n\n11:15-11:25\nKVIs\nGustav Wikstrom\n\n\n11:25-11:30\nClosing  remarks – next steps\nAlex Kaloxylos\n\n\n\nEvent Video:   Link\n\n  \n
