SUMMARY:CAE International Workshop on Sustainable\, Intelligent Next G Systems
DESCRIPTION:The Canadian Academy of Engineering invites you all to participate in this important International Workshop on Sustainable\, Intelligent Next G Systems (SINGS). It promises to be a very interesting discussion regarding the future of telecommunications and the Internet. Special thanks to participants from outside of Canada who will help to anchor a Canadian perspective in a dynamic global context. \nThe Internet and the underlying telecommunication network are evolving under the influence of emerging technologies such as AI\, quantum\, block chain and new wireless\, photonic and satellite technologies. Taken together\, the CAE refers to the associated computation\, communication and control requirements generically as “Next G Systems”; a networking concept that integrates both terrestrial and non-terrestrial systems.\nThis international workshop is the third in a series\, the first two having been hosted by the National Academy of Engineering (US) and the Royal Academy of Engineering (UK).\nThis workshop will feature Canadian and International speakers and panelists from industry\, academia and government\, who will share their perspectives on future directions for Next G Systems and the investments and collaborations in research and innovation required to achieve them. \nYou’re welcome to attend. All other attendees (e.g. others from your organization who you invite or others who are interested) should register at: \nhttps://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_5pGIc3R5TPCXisPsl4Tg0A or can register through our website at https://www.cae-acg.ca/future-networks/ \nAfter registering\, attendees will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar virtually. \n
