It has been developed in the framework of a multilateral Memorandum of Understanding in the interest of building global consensus on 5G and achieving efficiencies in the roll-out of 5G technology between 5G IA (EU)\, 5G Americas\, 5G Forum (Korea)\, 5G MF (Japan)\, 5G Brasil and IMT-2020 (China). \nThe 2-day event will include a one day and a half conference and one half-day technical tour. \nAdditional information on 5G PPP presence will come soon.

DESCRIPTION:Toyota\, Vodafone and Ericsson jointly conducted Edge Computing trials at the Aldenhoven Testing Center in 2020. Goal was to get more insight on two research questions: Do file download- / upload-based applications\, like for example HD Mapping\, benefit from Edge Computing and what advantage will Make-Before-Break gateway switching (aka Session and Service Continuity (SSC) mode 3)\, provided by 5G Core\, bring? The presentation and hopefully fruitful discussions around it will provide these insights.
