SUMMARY:Wireless World Research Forum Meeting 46
DESCRIPTION:The Wireless World Research Forum plans to contribute towards the development of a smart mobile communication eco-system beyond 5G.  The widespread introduction of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is foreseen to provide a strong impetus towards improved network performance and cost-efficiency for current and even more for next generation mobile systems. Beyond 5G\, services and networks will be managed more autonomously and are expected to offer increased flexibility and adaptability everywhere. Networks and applications need to become more intelligent\, self-learning and context dependent. AI’s potential impact on consumer\, society and industry-relevant aspects for end-to-end communication systems and uses cases will be tremendous. Future Cognitive Communication Systems are envisioned to be continuously learning\, self-optimizing and capable of transitioning from just connecting humans and things – to connecting\, sensing and actuating on everything – intelligently and in a purpose driven manner. \nRegistration for the WWRF meeting to be held in Paris on 1st to 3rd December is now open. Participation is possible either onsite or online. \nTo register\, go to the website at: https://wwrf46reg.wsconferences.com/events/wireless-world-research-forum/ \n

SUMMARY:5G for CAM Deployment Challenges and Lessons Learned Webinar on 3rd December 10:00-11:45 CET
DESCRIPTION:  \nIn this webinar\, 5G-MOBIX\, 5G-CroCo and 5G-CARMEN2 partners are bringing forward their experience on challenges faced and lessons learned during deployment and integration of 5G for CAM use cases in cross-border scenarios. \n\nFikret Sivrikaya (GT-ARC)\, leading the 5G corridor roll-out coordination within 5G-MOBIX\, will provide a summary overview of the vehicle/CAM-infrastructure related issues and lessons learned.\nSimon Rommel (TU Eindhoven) will focus on 5G network deployment challenges and lessons learned in 5G-MOBIX.\nEdwin Fischer (Deutsche Telekom AG)\, Technical Manager of 5G-CARMEN\, will share his “Notes from the field: 5G CAM deployment in today’s 5G NSA networks”.\nDirk Hetzer (T-Systems)\, 5G-CroCo Technical Manager’s presentation will provide insights on lessons learned during the use case tests and pilots and a few hints about evaluation results.\n\n1 So that stakeholders don’t have to choose between this event and 5G-Blueprint Forum on Teleoperation\, scheduled to take place on the same afternoon\, we have moved this webinar to a new date and time. \n2 5G-PPP Phase 3 Automotive projects implementing and testing advanced cross order 5G infrastructures in Europe.
