SUMMARY:5GCroCo Lunchtime Webinar 7: Service Orchestration: NFV MANO and SDN
DESCRIPTION:Lunchtime Webinar Nr.7  \nWelcome to the 7th in a planned series of 5GCroco Lunchtime Webinars.  These webinars will address different aspects of the technical work of the 5GCroco project in detail with some time for questions and discussions on the work presented. \nAGENDA: \n\n\n5GCroCo: Service Orchestration: NFV MANO and SDN integrated architectures in cross-domain scenarios \n\nThis webinar relies on the work detailed in “Intermediate E2E\, MEC & Positioning Architecture” with respect to the specification of the 5GCroCo MANO and SDN architectures. Moreover\, it provides some insights with respect to the specific work done in the context of the Barcelona small-scale site with respect to the automated provisioning and orchestration of the Anticipated Cooperative Collision Avoidance (ACCA) service. \nThe following topics will be covered: \n\nMotivations\, Background and Challenges\nStandardization Aspects in Multi-domain Environments\nCross-domain Service Orchestration\nEnd-to-end Network Slicing\nInternet eXchange Point (IXP)\, MANO & SDN Aspects\nFuture Work\n\n\nThis webinar will be done in two parts and will follow on from where Part 1 (held on the 31 May) stopped.  You can review Part 1 here. \nSpeaker Bios:  \nFrancesca Moscatelli received the Italian Laurea degree “cum laude” in Computer Science at the University of Pisa\, Italy. She is working as R&D Project Manager at Nextworks\, in Pisa. Her research activities include SDN and NFV\, from which she matured a solid background in NFV standards\, contributing to date to design and development activities in several EU-funded ICT projects. Currently\, she is also contributing to the ETSI NFV Specialist Task Force on OpenAPI specification. \nRicard Vilalta received a Ph.D. degree in telecommunications in 2013 from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC)\, Spain. He is a Senior Researcher at CTTC in the Optical Networks and Systems Department. He is an active contributor at ONF (OTCC)\, ETSI (NFV\, ZSM)\, and IETF (CCAMP\, TEAS). He has been involved in several international\, EU\, national and industrial research projects and currently is Project Coordinator of 5GPPP TeraFlow project. He has also authored several book chapters\, and more than 50 journals\, 160 conference papers\, +20 invited talks in most significant conferences\, 3 US and 2 European patents. \nREGISTRATION: \n\n\n\nError: Contact form not found.
