6G IA contributes to paper on Smart Connectivity Testbeds

The 6G IA is please to report that it has contributed to the new paper Smart connectivity testbeds use by DIHs (Digital Innovation Hubs) published by the AIOTI WG:  Testing and Experimentation Facilities.

The paper will help the Smart Connectivity Digital Innovation Hub Network members to find experimental facilities closed to their location in order to develop and experiment innovative use cases for end users.

A number of European funded projects have put in place experimental facilities all over Europe with the most advanced digital technologies creating an opportunity for DIHs to use them and to advance the digitalisation of the European Industry.

The DIHs will still have to work with the specific access policies of each experimental platform and also check which vertical use cases they are willing to develop.

In summary, this paper provides an overview of the Smart Connectivity testing facilities available in Europe and funded by different programs and gives indications on how to use them or to access them remotely with a specific focus on supporting DIHs.
